When hope seems lost, where do you look for God’s presence?
Prayer
Holy God, I know Mary’s pain. I, too, have shown up to the tomb, weary and disheartened, believing that death has won. I, too, have tucked away my optimism and prepared my heart for the worst. In those bleak moments, God, startle me with your presence. Send angels in my midst to point me back to you, the Risen One. Humbly I pray, amen.
